CCDC Recycling Fundraiser

Bring your old cell phones and ink jet cartridges to the CCDC monthly meetings or drop them off at the CCDC office and help us recycle for cash. Collection boxes will be at both locations. This will be a continuous, on-going effort throughout the year.

The CCDC is recycling cell phones through the PaceButler Corporation. To see a list of eligible phones, please go to their website at www.pacebutler.com click on Cell Phones, then price list.

Ink jet recycling is through www.FreeRecycling.com To see a list of acceptable ink jet cartridges, click on Qualifying Cartridges at their website.

Spread the word and ask coworkers, business owners, and anyone else to save their cell phones and ink jet cartridges for recycling. If you would like to obtain a collection box for your business or office, please contact Wendy Austin, wendy.austin@comcast.net or at 804-379-5506.

In the year 2004, industry analysts estimated 375 million Inkjet and Toner Cartridges, and 130 million Cell Phones were disposed of in some way. Here is your chance to help turn an ecological disaster into positive fundraising activity!

Please print and complete the form and mail it with fee payment to the CCDC office address listed at the top of the form.  For the new 2008 - 2010 term, all previous memberships are dissolved and any county resident who wishes to serve as a voting member in the CCDC must complete and submit an application for the new term. A fee of $30 per year or $50 for the full two years should be included with the application
